Centre Pompidou caught up in Jeff Koons copyright case
The gallery has been ordered to pay €20,000 after a sculpture by Koons, which it reproduced in an exhibition catalogue, was found to infringe the copyright of deceased French photographer Jean-François Bauret. The artist’s company has also been ordered to pay €20,000, plus €4,000 for reproducing the sculpture on its website.
