Leading representatives from theatre, music and sport are opposing Government plans to block a clause in the Consumer Rights Bill aimed at ending "unscrupulous" practices in the secondary ticketing market. The Government argues that requiring sellers to provide information on the face value of the ticket and the identity of the seller would amount to too much "red tape".
