7.7m visitors for Tate in 2012/13

The art museum’s four galleries achieved their most successful year to date, improving on last year’s figure of 7.1m. Tate Modern maintained its position as the world’s most visited gallery of modern and contemporary art, partly due to the success of its Damien Hirst exhibition.
