A new theatre production company is looking to raise initial working capital of £1,000,000 through an offering of one million ordinary £1 shares under the Enterprise Investment Scheme, which allows investors to deduct 30% of their investment against their income tax liability. Headed by Luke Johnson, Raymond Gubbay and Edward Snape, Fiery Dragons, will operate in the same way and with the same team as its forerunner, Fiery Angel, which after five years trading has delivered profitable returns to shareholders following the success of box-office hits such as ‘The 39 Steps’ in the West End. The new company will launch its programme with a West End premiere in December of the comedy thriller, ‘The Ladykillers’, based on the classic Ealing Comedy film. Other plans include a West End opening of ‘Me & My Girl’, and a new sequel to ‘The 39 Steps’. Investors in the new company will be offered benefits including priority invitations to gala performances.
