Common Practice, a group working for greater recognition of the role of the small-scale visual arts sector in London, has published ‘Value, Measure and Sustainability’, a summation of a recent meeting of 30 organisations. Discussion focused on how the value of small-scale arts might best be measured, issues of sustainability, how organisations might deal with falling levels of public subsidy, and how they might develop funding from private sources and new partnership schemes.
