Yorkshire stately home pays tax bill by donating art to nation

Castle Howard has given up a total of 89 items, including 62 Roman antiques, in lieu of almost £5.5m owed in inheritance tax. All of the items have been allocated to National Museums Liverpool but will remain on display at the house.
