West Berkshire Council to cut theatre funding by £180k

Newbury’s Watermill Theatre and Corn Exchange are facing cuts to funding as part of the council’s attempt to save £11m over the next two years. The Corn Exchange is set to lose £170k from its current £378k annual funding. The final budget will be decided in February.
