Two hundred National Gallery staff on indefinite strike

Following The National Gallery’s appointment of a private security firm, its dispute with the Public and Commercial Services Union has escalated and 200 members of staff are now on indefinite strike – mere days before the gallery’s new Director, Gabriele Finaldi, takes up his post.
