Trump’s Arts and Humanities Committee resigns in protest

A White House statement announced the President is skipping a televised arts awards ceremony to avoid causing “political distraction”, the day after his Arts and Humanities Committee resigned en masse in protest to his comments about the Charlottesville riots.
