Theatres launch schemes to increase diversity

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and Talawa Theatre Company have both launched initiatives hoping to improve the diversity of the British theatre sector. The RSC plans to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds launch careers in acting, directing and backstage, while Talawa will support black theatre makers at four career stages.
