Theatre Royal Wakefield to build £900k arts centre

A council contribution of £300k has given the green light to proposals to renovate the derelict site adjacent to the venue, creating conference facilities, rehearsal studios and a learning centre. Construction is expected to start in May and could be finished by the end of 2017.
