Fans trying to buy tickets for the upcoming ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ theatre production were met by disappointment as the ticketing website proved unresponsive and unreliable. Some of those who did secure tickets quickly turned to resale sites where they were offered for up to £900. The news comes after the art sector was invited to give evidence on issues associated with the secondary ticket market by a DCMS review.
