‘Soft’ subjects in danger of being removed from GCSE brand

Ofqual has indicated that, along with proposed changes to the way GCSE exams are graded, future changes could include subjects such as PE, media studies and drama being ‘renamed’ to create a clear dividing line between academic and more practical subjects.
