Shell put pressure on Science Museum to modify climate programme

Emails obtained under the Freedom of Information Act reveal the oil giant raised concerns about a climate science exhibition and symposium, saying: “we receive a great deal of interest around our art sponsorships so need to ensure we do not proactively open up a debate on the topic.” The museum’s Director said: “I can confirm that not a single change to an exhibition resulted from these email exchanges.”
