Sajid Javid speaks out against cultural boycotts

The Culture Secretary has labelled boycotts and political demonstration in the arts as “needlessly divisive”. He told the Union of Jewish Students Annual Conference that such protests are “counter to the long history of cultural freedom that this country holds dear”.
