Plan for post-Olympic biennial arts festival shelved

Former Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt suggested a biennial arts festival to form part of a legacy for the London 2012 festival, but  the Cultural Olympiad Board has not included the idea in its final recommendations to current Culture Secretary Maria Miller.
