The minimum rate for a full-length play at the Royal Court, National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company has risen by 2% to nearly £13,000 under a new collective agreement. Writers’ Guild of Great Britain General Secretary Ellie Peers said it was “only right that writers receive credit and proper remuneration” for their work.
