New £25m outdoor concert arena for Edinburgh

A competition has been launched for designers to replace the Ross Bandstand and revitalise West Princes Street Gardens. The £25m project, which aims to be complete in 2019, is being managed by an independent trust headed up by a hotel developer, working closely with the council.
