A National Day of Arts in Care Homes on 24 September will be on the theme of #CreativeCommunities. Organised by the National Activity Providers Association, care home providers will be organising events, and also sharing stories about creative activities they have delivered during lockdown and how they have enabled care home residents to stay connected with loved ones and members of our local communities. Partners include The Southbank Centre, working on a public outdoor art and poetry exhibition celebrating the contribution of key workers during the lockdown, and the National Archives, sharing photographs from their collection to inspire reminiscence, spark conversation and encourage follow-up activities.
