Major refurbishment of Burrell Collection to increase access

A redevelopment of the Burrell Collection, estimated to cost between £60m and £66m, will see more than 90% of the 9,000-strong collection put on display. Glasgow City Council has approved the proposals, which ask it to fund 50% of the cost.
