The theatre has been criticised for ‘turning a blind eye’ to inappropriate sexual behaviour by Kevin Spacey while he was Artistic Director, after actor Roberto Cavazos relayed a “couple of unpleasant encounters” on Facebook. The Guardian has reportedly been contacted by a number of people who have worked at the theatre claiming Spacey’s behaviour was well known. The news follows the Old Vic’s decision to invite anyone who would like to make a retrospective complaint to contact them.
