Hull plans £42m events and conference centre

The council says the 3,500-capacity venue, which will host music, comedy and sporting events, as well as exhibitions and trade shows, “is absolutely essential to making Hull a top visitor destination and to ensuring that we make the most of the legacy of our City of Culture status.”
