Gulf between artist and gallery expectations

Artists’ costs tend to appear low on budget lists for exhibitions, according to new research by a-n The Artists Information Company and AIR Artists Interaction and Representation. Not all artists reported positive experiences in relation to their exhibiting expenses and most venues report that artists don’t expect fees.
