EBacc should be scrapped, says exam board

Education company Pearson, which offers a range of GCSE and A-level examinations, said many teachers, parents and young people feel the English Baccalaureate school performance measure does “not adequately capture pupils’ achievements”, and has advised the Government to focus on other  metrics.
