Council prepares to separate from Birmingham’s Old Rep Theatre

Birmingham City Council is looking to outsource the running of its Old Rep Theatre in an attempt to save money. Council Deputy Leader Ian Ward said: “we simply don’t have the funding for proactive programming or marketing” so the Council is looking for a “visionary” company or organisation to run and transform the theatre over the next five years.
