Council intervenes to ensure future of arts project

Dumfries and Galloway Council has stepped in and taken over the converted Stove Building, a £2m arts-based regeneration project in Dumfries town centre, and will invest £32.5k to complete the work needed. The building will be leased to the Stove Network Ltd, which aims to collaborate with organisations in the health, education and tourism sectors to reach out to the wider community.
