The English National Opera (ENO) said it was “horrified” to learn about allegations of sexual harassment against former guest conductor Stephen Lord. The American was employed by ENO on a freelance basis when some of the alleged misconduct occurred. Lord resigned from positions at the Michigan Opera Theatre and Opera Theatre of St Louis on Wednesday.
