Children ‘run riot’ in theatre after pantomime booking fiasco

There were complaints from audience members at Bolton’s Victoria Hall after problems with the allocation of tickets meant people had to queue until after the planned start time and some families could not sit together. The head of the company producing the show apologised to any people who were upset, adding “we were disgusted to go into the theatre and see children running around and talking during the performance like a free for all”. The venue said it was on a “massive learning curve”.
