BBC to join forces with Britain’s cultural institutions

Announcing plans for the next ten years, BBC Director General Tony Hall said: “Britain has some of the greatest cultural forces in the world. We want to join with them, working alongside them, to make Britain the greatest cultural force in the world.” New initiatives include an online platform called ‘Ideas Service’, which will feature content from galleries, museums and universities.
