Arts Council of Wales to face 3% funding cut

The Arts Council’s £34.1m grant will be reduced to £33.1m in 2014/15 as part of the Welsh Government’s draft budget for next year. ACW Chair Dai Smith said the organisation was “very pleased” with the outcome, seeing it as an indication of the Welsh Government’s commitment to the arts and their role in supporting wider Government policy.
