32 arts organisations in Northern Ireland face 7% cuts

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s budget has been cut by 8%—£870,000—forcing it to make savings by cutting its own operational costs and grants to its main clients. The MAC and the Lyric Theatre are set to lose around £68,000; the Ulster Orchestra is to lose around £125,000.
