2013 Turner Prize exhibition opens in Derry

The Turner Prize has opened in Derry, the first time the exhibition has been held outside of England. Director of Tate Britain, Penelope Curtis, said: “Derry was an obvious place to bring the Turner Prize with it being the City of Culture year.” The winner will be announced on 2 December.
