The Princes Foundation for Children & the Arts (formerly the Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation) has teamed up with radio station Classic FM for Arts and Kids Week 2007, which sees cultural venues around the UK hosting a variety of arts events for children and their families during the half-term holiday.

The Foundation targets children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the arts. Explaining the Foundations name change, spokesperson Jessica Fletcher said, The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation began as a successful pilot operated by Arts & Business (A&B). In 2006 Arts & Kids spun off from A&B to become one of the 18 Princes Charities, a group of non-for-profit organisations of which the Prince of Wales is President. The slight name change signals this.
