A young boy doing a break dance move

Young people are being invited to promote their own dance activity or event through a new social network campaign which aims to boost young people’s participation in dance. ‘I Love to Dance’, run by Youth Dance England (YDE), the national organisation that champions and promotes dance for all children and young people, invites participants to upload films of their dance activity with a message about why they love to dance. The films will automatically be entered into a competition, with five winners selected by a panel of YDE National Young Dance Ambassadors. As part of the campaign, YDE aims to turn 14 February into ‘I Love to Dance Day’, encouraging young people across England to create their own dance activity. A silent disco will be held in London, where young dancers and
passers-by will be invited to join a huge dance-off. Young people will be encouraged to dance to eveything from soul to jungle to classical music
