Long-term co-operation between cultural organisations, literary translation projects and bodies that wish to expand their cultural work at European level are among the cultural projects which the European Commission is seeking to encourage under its new call for submissions. The Culture Programme, which runs from 2007 to 2013, aims to support projects that “enhance the cultural area shared by Europeans with a view to encouraging the emergence of European citizenship”. Funding will range from €2,000 to €500,000 for projects lasting between one and five years. New deadlines apply for each strand.
