Creative Scotland is working to clarify funding guidance and other communications, and to update its corporate plan after a period of turbulence which led to the resignation of Chief Executive Andrew Dixon late last year. It plans to run a series of open sessions throughout the Spring to gather ideas as part of its recent commitment to “re-building trust between Creative Scotland and all the sectors that we are here to support.” The organisation is currently reviewing its culture, values and operations in preparation for re-structuring the organisation to ensure that its specialist knowledge and expertise is made more accessible to the sector. New funding models for artists, creative practitioners and organisations are also being considered.
