Walker becomes Corinium Museum Director

Cirencester's Corinium Museum has appointed KATHERINE WALKER as its new Director.

A Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries and former Centre Manager at Lyndhurt's New Forest Heritage Centre, Walker takes up post this month.

She says her vision for the museum is to achieve sustainability and expand the inclusivity and diversity of its resources.

"I intend to do my utmost to further the museum’s efforts, and we have some great opportunities in the planning for raising the profile of the museum even further – these are exciting times."
