Guildhall Ignite at Guildhall School of Music & Drama

Guildhall Ignite are seeking up to 6 Senior Level Practitioners (voice, movement, dance, drama) to join our Specialist Coach team.

In May 2023, Guildhall School of Music & Drama launched Guildhall Ignite, its executive and professional training consultancy, enabling performance by coaching in and through the performing arts. Guildhall Ignite offers EMCC-accredited coaching and a suite of programmes designed to enable executives and professionals to respond to the contemporary challenges of the creative and corporate worlds. The Guildhall School is the only arts education institution to combine outstanding accredited executive coaching with performance training for business and creative professionals, using specialist coaches in the performing arts.

To extend our team of Specialist Coaches, we wish to recruit persons with embodied craft at the heart of their practice. You may be a movement, voice, dance practitioner or an actor. You will have significant experience working outside the performing arts field, preferably including within the corporate world. You will be committed and skilled at sharing your craft skills with people from a wide variety of professions. We seek to enhance our Specialist Coach team with creatives from all backgrounds and especially want to see the full spectrum of our vibrant society represented in our team.

Guildhall Ignite welcomes difference and welcomes change. Our Specialist Coaches will have completed or will complete Foundation Training in coaching to ensure a common approach, language and ethos. A coaching approach is in our DNA. It is important for us that our facilitators meet both Ignites Brand Values and those of the Guildhall School more widely.

Our Guildhall Ignite Brand Values are 1. Creativity. Always employing imagination and ideas to produce something new. 2. Courage. Being ready and willing to face vulnerability and uncertainty. 3. Rigour. Committed to taking great care and to be complete in every detail.

We look forward to building this work together.
