Festival of Thrift has appointed three new trustees.
Arts marketing professional NINA BYRNE, musician and performer MIKE McGROTHER and former Member of European Parliament JULIE WARD are joining the board's four founding members.
Executive Director EMMA WHITENSTALL says the trio's experience, expertise and insight will be invaluable.
A third round of recruitment aimed at encouraging young and underrepresented communities to join the board is under way, with appointments due to finalised by April.
“Our ambition is to build our board to ten members in this, our 10th anniversary year, and we are excited to secure a strong board that reflects the communities we work with,” Whitenstall added.
