GARETH REDSTON is Manchester Jewish Museum's new Chief Executive.

He takes over from MAX DUNBAR, who left in December after 10 years at the helm.

Redston has worked with the museum since 2015, formerly as Head of Programmes and most recently as Interim CEO following Dunbar's departure.

He is also Chair of Cheetham Cultural Festival and Co-chair of a Manchester primary school.

"It’s an honour and a privilege to now be asked to lead such an amazing organisation and to serve as custodian of our beautiful building," Redston said.

"I’m extremely excited to see what the future holds as the museum continues to respond to the changing world we live in, making connections to make things better."
