SANDY NAIRNE has been appointed Deputy Chair of the National Trust.
He replaces outgoing Deputy Chair ORNA NICHIONNA TURNER, who held the post for seven years.
A former Director of the National Portrait Gallery and Director of Programmes at Tate, Nairne has served on the National Trust board since 2015 and is an elected member of its council.
He is also Chair of the Fabric Committee and a former Chair of the Clore Leadership Programme board.
