Somerset House has named CLIFF LAUSON as its Director of Exhibitions.

Currently Senior Curator at Southbank Centre’s Hayward Gallery, Lauson will take up his new role in March.

Lauson currently serves on the British Council Collection Acquisitions Advisory Committee, the board of Film and Video Umbrella and as a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.

Somerset House says the newly-created role will focus on development and delivery of an Embankment Galleries exhibition, three Terrace Room shows, and exhibitions in the East and West Wing Galleries, among other installations.
