Sir DAVID HENSHAW has been reappointed Chair of the National Museums Liverpool. He will now hold the position through to February 2025.

Henshaw is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Liverpool University, an Honorary Fellow of Liverpool John Moore University, and an Honorary Doctor at Sheffield Hallam University.

He received a knighthood in 2004 and, whilst Chief Executive of Liverpool City Council, helped the city to deliver a successful bid for European Capital of Culture 2008.
