ALICE CABAÑAS has been appointed Head of BFI NETWORK.
Formerly BFI NETWORK Talent Executive in the South West, she succeeds JAMES WEDDUP, who acted as Interim Head for nine months on secondment.
In her new role, Cabañas will lead the institute’s UK-wide talent development programme and be responsible for its overall management, including funding.
Her appointment comes as the BFI begins development of its next 10-year National Lottery funding strategy, due to be announced in September.
Cabañas says it feels like an exciting time to join BFI NETWORK.
