KASH BENNETT is Society of London Theatre’s (SOLT) incoming President.

Bennett, who has been a SOLT board member for three years, is currently serving as Vice President until June next year.

She will then take over from ELEANOR LLOYD, who after a three-year tenure as President, will assume the role of Vice President from Bennett.

Bennett has been Managing Director of National Theatre Productions for the last seven years. Here, she is responsible for delivering live theatre performed outside of the National Theatre, including West End, Broadway, and UK and international touring productions.

“Like many industries over the last few years, the theatre sector has demonstrated extraordinary resilience in the face of huge challenges,” Bennett added.

“I can't wait to work more closely with co-CEOs Claire Walker and Hannah Essex and the entire team at SOLT, as well as with my fellow board members, to continue to rebuild our industry and champion the UK as a world leading destination for theatre.”

Current President Lloyd added: "It has been a pleasure to work with [Bennett] on the Board for the last three years and I look forward to working together more closely over the next 12 months before handing on the baton.”
