Contemporary Music for All (CoMA) London has announced MATTHEW HARDY is joining as Music Director from this autumn. The Royal College of Music alumnus follows GREGORY ROSE, who is retiring after 20 years as conductor of the ensemble.
Co-founding Director of Folkworks and former Performance Programme Director of Sage Gateshead, ROS RIGBY OBE, has been appointed D6: Culture in Transit’s Chair of the Board of Directors, replacing STELLA HALL. Also joining the Board is HARRY HOBSON, a corporate solicitor from Muckle LLP.

MEGHAN BIDWELL is leaving her role as Arts Engagement Manager at WHALE Arts to join Dance Base, Scotland’s National Centre for Dance, as Dance Health Manager. Her new role focuses on the delivery of the Dance for Parkinson’s Scotland programme in partnership with the Scottish Ballet.
BONNIE SMITH, an arts marketer with over 10 years’ experience of creating and delivering communications strategies for festivals, producing theatres, and engagement programmes, has been appointed Communications Manager for Creative & Cultural Skills’ Creative Careers Programme. She will be joined by JOANNE RUMNEY, previously employed by the University of Sydney, as the new Project Administrator.

DANIEL KRAMER is to step down as English National Opera’s Artistic Director at the end of July after less than three years in the role in order to focus on directing more opera and theatre full-time. He will continue to work with the company until the end of 2019, as Artistic Consultant, to oversee the Orpheus series of four operas.
MARTIN GREEN CBE has been appointed Chief Creative Officer of Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and will be responsible for the official opening and closing ceremonies and the wider cultural programme for the Games. He has previously worked as the Head of Ceremonies for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and as the Director of Hull UK City of Culture 2017.
Previously Executive Director of The Yard, LUCY OLIVER-HARRISON has been appointed Director of Arts and Minds. GAVIN CLAYTON, who was Executive Director for 10 years, moves on to become CEO of HOOT Creative Arts.
MIKE GRIFFITHS, former interim Chief Executive of Horsecross Arts and interim CEO at Eden Court Theatre, has been appointed as the Royal Lyceum Theatre Company’s new Co-Chief Executive Director.
