New home planned for Germany’s modern art collection

Berlin’s museum authorities have approved a new modern art museum for the city, following public uproar last year over plans for Old Masters to be moved from the Gemaeldegalerie to make room for  20th century pieces. The €130m funding required for the project is yet to be approved by the German government.
