Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme fails to boost charities’ income

In its first year the scheme raised just £7m for charities, falling well short of the Government’s £50m target. The National Council for Voluntary Organisations, the Institute of Fundraising and the Charity Finance Group will conduct a review into its effectiveness.
