Fire-damaged Glasgow School of Art could cost £35m to restore
The Scottish Government has given £5m towards the restoration and the UK Government has also pledged support, however, despite the building being fully insured, it is expected the school will still have to raise between £10m and £20m for the work, which could take up to four years to complete. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
