A campaign to save the City of Edinburgh School of Music – one of Scotland’s six ‘Centres of Excellence’ – has been given hope following rumours the Scottish Government may block plans to close it. The council hopes re-distributing the school’s facilities to four sites across Edinburgh will save it £383k a year and widen access to music.
